A peek into Africa Fashion week London 2017 at Freemanson’ Hall
Africa Fashion Week London returns to the iconic Freemasons’ Hall in the centre of London on 10 and 11 August. As per its out-of-the-box tradition, the 2018 show will again bring to the British capita an eclectic array of emerging African designs and those inspired by Africa from talents stretched as far out as Brazil and the US.
Since its inception 8 years ago, AFWL – now a staple in the global fashion calendar – has showcased over 800 designer, more so emerging ones from both Africa and its Diaspora.
Freemasons’ Hall – right in the heart of Covent Garden, brings with it a more cosy and intimate atmosphere to the fashion event that attracts a diverse range of revellers every year.
The AFWL staple – the market place and will expecdly once again be but a crowd pleasers to fashion lovers wanting to purchase a piece of Africa. Over 60 designers are expected to exhibit and trade their collections at this year’s event.
