Dr Ezikanyi’s study evaluated the allergenic potentials of some plants to inform climate policy on the selection of non-allergenic plants for tree planting approaches to mitigation. Her nature-based solution findings are currently in the process of developing allergen-specific immunotherapy for the prevention of allergic diseases and evaluating the prophylactic potentials of seeds and diverse flowering plants in reducing allergies.
